No word from Houston police yet as to what, if any, demands the suspect may be making, while the suspect has barricaded himself in a building at the corner of Pierce and Fannin. In the event the suspect is ultimately unreasonable, Houston S.W.A.T. is standing at the ready.
Of course, it's Chron.com which comes forward with the earliest full report. The shooting occurred at the Greyhound Bus Station at 2121 Main. One officer suffered an injury to the hand, and the other, a leg wound. Both officers were transported to the Memorial Hermann Hospital for treatment. Although no details have been shared at this time, a source has confirmed the injuries are not life-threatening, fortunately. Updates will be made as the story unfolds.
