Of course, the quantity of sugar is far less than what is used in making traditional desserts. If you prefer store brought then check the calories and sugar it contains. Vanilla or coconut milk yogurt will make a delicious addition to your dessert recipes collection. Add a splash of almond extract, fresh lemon juice and you will keep asking for more.

If you love cakes then also you can do it in a healthy way by using some healthy alternatives to fatty ingredients and sugar. Use peanut butter instead of regular fatty butter and natural sweeteners from fruits to enjoy the delicious and healthy cake. Fruit cake is one of the many varieties of cakes that you would love making at home and enjoy the sweetness without risking your health. Add more dried fruits and nuts to make it healthier and tastier. While satiating your taste buds, these cakes would also provide you with the fiber and many other nutrients that body needs.
