Great essay within few minutes

Nov 20th 2015 at 2:37 AM

Students all over the world get ample time to write essays and assignments no matter which education system they follow. However, there comes some stages when students are required to complete essay under very less time and so students often face difficulty in dealing with them. SAT essay is a great example of such stage where only 25 minutes are allowed for a whole essay. Experts in UK essays and college professors claim that it is highly possible for an average student to ace an essay even under strict time constraint. According to these professionals, two major factors determine whether a student can write a great essay in few minutes or not: practice and strategies.

While too much practice is recommended by almost every instructor, professor and expert, practice alone is not sufficient. Following are some of the best strategies that can help students write an excellent essay in a very short time:

1) Way of planning: Planning should not be all eliminated just because time is short. It has been a fact that no one has ever been able to produce a good essay without planning for it and therefore planning is important. But how to plan when time is so short? An easy-to-understand and efficient strategy is to allocate approximately 10% of total time on planning. Experts assure that planning could save a significant amount of time because planning is like everything in front of a student that needs to be articulated, and articulation could be done fast with practice!

2) Structure outline during planning: Ever heard of multitasking? The ‘art’ of planning and structuring outline together is something similar to multitasking. From a different perspective, we can say that structuring the outline is a way of making the planning process efficient and productive because it makes articulation very easy. Students will know what points are to be included in each paragraph and they will only be required to elaborate on the written points. So it is fine to say that all the thought and creative process is reserved for the beginning after which student will only need to write.

3) Preparing evidences beforehand: As mentioned, keep all the creativity and thinking process for the beginning. While planning for the essay, think of relevant examples and write them down where they should be included. However, it is often observed that relevant evidences and examples suddenly strikes the mind of students while they are articulating. But since this is not ‘always’ the case, students are advised to not rely on luck but rather prepare evidences and examples beforehand.

4) Fancy vocabulary is not worth it: In an attempt to impress the reader, students often use very fancy words instead of simple English and end up using wring words. While it is good to have some fancy words in an essay to give it a professional look, this should be totally avoided if there is less time. Under time pressure, students may use wrong words mistakenly and this would only make the sentence ambiguous leading to lower marks. If, however, there is much time for essay, students may use such words only if they are sure about them.

These strategies are largely used by writers of essay help UK and they are able to write good essays in a short time period. However, practicing as much as possible will make these strategies efficient otherwise students may not be able to apply them.
