Bio: June 19, 2012 Emcee N.I.C.E. native Angelino of Puerto Rico descent was raised in El Paso and Topeka, places he claims and collectively calls Gypsy City. In a collaborative effort with top and famed producers Kelly Keys and Phantom, Emcee N.I.C.E. brings you this summer’s hottest feel good records “Life of The Party” single and dance mix.
Once upon a time music not only moved your feet, teased your imagination but made you feel good, act right, and love with passion. Radio version’s weren’t laced with excessive bleeps or blurred overlays leaving you, the listener questioning “what’s the point” or disappointed when you purchased the album only to hear that the lyrics are beyond explicit.
This month Emcee N.I.C.E. releases the first record “Life of The Party” off his solo EP album titled “Way Back Now” set for release Fall 2012. “Life of The Party” wakes up the senses evoking thoughts of summer fun, house party, groove to/dance to music via the lyrics and beats that magically captures the spirit of classic rap and new age Hip Hop and R and B.
Emcee N.I.C.E. although not a house hold name yet; is no stranger to the rap game and promises to make his solo campaign “Way Back Now” memorable. Each record on the EP paints a picture of places we all come from, beautiful women, life well lived especially when you appreciate what and who you’ve got as well as all that life has to offer in between.
What’s in the name EMCEE N.I.C.E.? EMCEE represents who he is, a charismatic Storyteller that creatively paints an epic and vivid picture in a tone with words that your ears see and eyes listen. While N.I.C.E., Novelist Is Constantly Evolving, is more than just an acronym it’s his nature and spirit as he continuously personifies his personality through his writing and music resulting in a byproduct which is often described as… NICE! Music is the evolution of life which is constantly changing! Emcee N.I.C.E. aka Novelist a member of one of L.A.’s most influential underground rap crews Mass Men later formed KansasCali, achieved success in a genre he co-created called Urban Rock which lead him to co-founding an Urban Rock band called, The Rocturnals.
The Rocturnals, formerly known as KansasCali, first built a name for themselves by producing music for iconic artists and noteworthy motion picture soundtracks. Their hit song “If I…” was featured on the soundtrack for the 2004 Oscar winning film Crash (Crash: Music From & Inspired by Crash) and was chosen as the featured single over the Oscar nominated song “In the Deep.” The band was asked to create a music video for “If I…” exclusively for the special features section of the film’s DVD that went on to sell over 10 million units.
N.I.C.E., returns to his roots and is determined to give audiences and consumers not only prolific lyrics but beats that bring the Left Coast Back! Emcee N.I.C.E.
