Check that Water you are having is free from Contaminants with Water Testing Lab
Water is a beautiful gift of nature on which the life of every living being depends. A large part of our body is made up of water; it is the most important thing to stay alive. But, what if this natural source that keeps us alive gets contaminated with harmful ingredients and become a threat for everyone’s’ life? We can’t even think of such situation because clean drinking water is must for our existence. Contaminated water can become a reason of a variety of water borne diseases.
To make sure that drinking water is safe for consumption and there is not any health risk associated with it,different water testing labs are doing their bit. They examine water samples from different sources of drinking and non-drinking water and find out the extent of contamination. Since the sources of contamination of water are increasing day by day in form of factories, vehicles and many other man made pollutants. Keeping that in mind, BIS or Bureau of Indian Standards has set some standards for quality of water and these laboratories check the quality of water according to the national standards. Some of the water testing types of these laboratories are given below.
Types of Water Testing
· Drinking water testing – These tests are done to examine normal drinking water that includes testing of source water, evaluating performance of different purification systems, conducting sample tests from offices and residential areas, creating an overall water testing plan and so on.
· Testing of Water for FSSAI Licensing – Some laboratories that are reliable enough to conduct this test do it for getting a license of food safety for different food businesses. For this purpose, the laboratory should be FSSAI recognized and NABL accredited.
· Test for Particle Counting & Size Distribution – Some good laboratories also perform the tests for particle counting and size distribution. This helps in determining the number of particles present in waste water, what kind of purification technique is required by it and particle composition of purified water. The techniques used for this test are optical microscopy, light blockage instruments and light scattering instruments.
You can get information about many water testing labs on the internet, there is just need to find the suitable one, if you want the testing to be done on any water sample. Just check that the laboratory should be accredited by NABL, FSSAI, BIS, CDSCO, and AGMARK etc.
Water is the most important thing for living beings to stay alive; it increases the importance of quality testing of water to up to many times. There are different reliable water testing labs that are dedicated to perform different quality testing on water sample. Find out information about them by surfing the internet.
