Acceptance of Proposals
The Masters Research Group will evaluate your proposal against three criteria:
· its academic appropriateness and relevance to the Masters award;
· the resources available to support the dissertation, including support of an appropriate supervisor, an employer or other interested parties;
· conformity with the university’s Research Ethics Policy.
If you are advised not to proceed with the research as proposed, you may revise your proposal and resubmit it for consideration. Details are provided by EM论文代写 !
The Learning Agreement
Once the research proposal is assessed, you will be allocated a dissertation supervisor, who will take major responsibility for guiding you through the dissertation. You must then formulate a Learning Agreement with your supervisor.
The Learning Agreement is a formal document that will set out what you intend to achieve from your dissertation and how you will achieve it. The learning agreement will be based on the scope of the dissertation in your proposal, but will be amended in the light of further discussion between yourself, your supervisor and, where appropriate, other persons organisations concerned in the dissertation, as this should secure extra support for the dissertation.
You may renegotiate the learning agreement as the dissertation progresses, but this must be recorded.
