(b) July 2nd, 1776, c) John Adams, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Robert Livingston, and Roger Sherman., ( making me use Wiki to be sure more then I like, great poll) c) Adams wanted to challenge Jefferson to improve his writing skills by drafting an important document. Is thought to be the most common reason for his selection by the committee. a) They removed all references to slavery. And finally b) Thomas Jefferson and John Adams. Again absolutely great quiz.
