In 2010, we are all feeling the effects of a stagnant economy. It affects our jobs (if we still have one) by bringing about distraction, anger over diminishing compensation, fear of potential unemployment, and pressure to increase sales and revenue. It affects our health, as stress takes its toll upon us, both physically and mentally. It affects our Families, as we take out our frustrations and fears upon those closest to us. There is no doubt that this is affecting us individually and as a nation. As these pressure mount, it becomes ever more important that we focus on positive thoughts and endeavours. Certainly this is true for our psyche and physical health, but we must take time for positive, uplifting pursuits in order to be more successful at our job and more nurturing to our families. We must be willing to look at new, positive options to help us through these tough times. Do not succumb to the negative or, in the end, you will be its victim.
