@Bill ... We'll look into that login issue you are having. Likely something with the way the session is being handled. What browser are you using, and are you using the same browser on both machines?

Thanks for your patience on this one.

My office machine is using firefox 3.5 and the laptop is running firefox 3.6. Both machines have the same issues with about the same regularity.

Bill, I was having that problem when using firefox for one of my social networks. Come to find out it was the browser.

I have no trouble staying logged into most of my sites. The sites will log me out at times when I am off line.

I now use Google Chrome. I still use firefox for some of my programs.

Thanks for the tip Faye. I've used chrome some, but didn't really care for it and found a few sites that didn't like it.

That's why they make more than one kind of everything. Not all of us like the same stuff.

Hi, Bill: I've had that problem on other sites on occasion, but never here at IM faceplate. Up until today, I was running FF 3.6. Earlier today, I upgraded to the new 4.0 version. So far, no problems here at IM faceplate. Hopefully Tyler's team will identify the cause of your issue. I know how irritating that can be.

GT :-)

I didn't update for fear things would go haywire like when 3 first came out. 3.6 gave me issues too. I prefer to wait until the kinks are worked out, but thanks for the input.

Hi, Bill: I hear you about not being too quick to upgrade! Usually, if there's going to be a problem or an issue, I'm the one it happens to and the tech people always say something like, "We've never seen THAT happen before!" LOL

This time, with extreme trepidation, I decided to take a chance. Whew. Nothing serious so far. Buttons and features have been moved around, which means that many of the things that (for me) were conveniently located in a more central spot are now spread all over my screen - annoying. But I'll get used to it.

Hmm. Sounds like IM faceplate . . . JUST KIDDING, Tyler! Things HAVE been moved here, but they make sense and you have provided more navigational features and cleaner navigation. (I'm sure FireFox thinks their new configuration is better too. I'll get over it.)

GT :-)

I hear ya GT. I used to be more adventurous, but now I just want things to WORK!

I just had an idea for a handy feature. What about a Location on our faceplates? Like maybe country and state/province.
