Hi, Marisa: Thanks for posting this symphonic version of the Stones' "Angie."

While it is well-produced and certainly captures the mood of the tune, I still prefer the original band version.

Rumour had it that the song was written for David Bowie's wife, Angela (a belief that I personally held for many years as a Bowie fan!), but apparently the name came from Keith Richards' daughter, Dandelion Angela, who had recently been born.

I like the original better too. I saw a post that said Jagger didn't like it until Keith Moon told him it was brilliant. Not sure of the exact words it is in a post below the video.

Marisa, thanks for the share! This is great. I love to hear songs redone in other genres of music.

I find it funny the poster of the video says you can't find the song on Google when Google, in fact, owns Youtube. So, um, yeah you can find it on Google, lol.
