This is a fantastic song as are so many of this great band's work.
Emerson Lake and Palmer was sure to make you think.

There is no video to watch but this one has the best sound that I have found.

Enjoy !!

Awesome! Thanks, Marisa. This has always been my favourite ELP tune! Right from the first time it began playing on the radio and I ran out and bought the vinyl album!

In fact, I still have it in my collection (with hundreds of other LPs and 45s from the day ... and before the day ... and since the day ... until they invented 8-tracks ... and then invented cassette tapes ... and then invented CDs ... and then invented e-music files ... and then ... Wow! I've been around a LONG time! lol)

But the point is ... thank you for posting the link to this awesome classic ELP tune!

GT :-)

LOL

I have thought the same thing at times. Wonder if I'll make it to stereo chips in the head.

Hey, Marisa: I can see that day coming! Forget external hardware – everything computer-related will have a direct wireless internal interface in our brains! It will be as close to telepathic communication as humans will ever get, but it will be virtually the same!

Hey, Big Richie: When that day comes, it will give new meaning to "the kind of tune that stays in my head all day!" ;-)

GT :-)

LOL OH for funny.. you guys are being silly today ..
At least I HOPE YOU ARE LOL.... NO WAY do I want a chip in my brain with Music playing all the time LOL

Great song I love these guys!
Wow, It has been since my teen years that I have heard this one!

GT YES, when you were talking about 45's, LP's , 8 tracks, cassettes and then CD's I thought about myself being old too LOL
As I have seen them all also.. the funny thing is .. the kids now a days say what is a 45? LOLOL and they won't know what an 8 track is either.. LOL My kids know as I played mine all the time but the young kids now have no clue!

There were 33's and what was the first one that came out?
Before 33's?

OH OH there we go again? LOL

Thanks all of you for the chuckled this morning LOL
Thanks for the song posted.. Great selection!
Dee

Alright, Dee and Soroya, you are now aging me for sure! I remember playing 78s on my parents' record players ... and ... if I looked through my old records collection, there is a good chance I may still have a couple of them!

Now ... back to our regularly scheduled program.

Sing along with me:

"He .. had white horses .. and ladies .. by the score. All .. dressed in satin .. and waiting .. by the door.

Ooo, what a lucky man .. he was ... Oo, what a lucky man .. he was..."

GT :-)
