Hey, Heather:

I rode a mechanical bull ... once ... only once ... and believe me, there was NO funny punchline to THAT experience! LOL

And why did it have to happen when we had out-of-town family visiting and there to witness the event!

Okay. Maybe after the stars cleared from my eyes and I could stand up straight again, maybe THEN I could start seeing the humour in it.

Hmm. A punchline?

How is life like a mechanical bull? Just when you think you have mastered it, you find yourself singing a whole new tune! LOL

GT :-)

Because you should hang on and grab life by the horns for a hell of a ride.

BYOS (bring your own saddle)...definitely like that one!

Your saddle is like your attitude, a positive attitude will make the bull go in the direction you want it to...

You can never tell the direction a bull will take - whether mechanical or live! It is like life - you just have to hold on the take the ride. I've ridden both and I must say the mechanical bull was much easier! I rode that one for the full 8 seconds - the live one bucked me off in less than 3 seconds AND gave an extremely painful landing, both physically and to my pride and ego!

I prefer to think of life as a roller coaster... ups, downs, twists and turns - but a real trip every time! I'm enjoying the ride now!

No matter how rough the ride, it only makes you stronger.

How about the quote "When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on." that sort of relates to a mechanical bull doesn't it?

Rarely does anyone need the liniment for bull riding- they don't stay on long enough to get saddle sores! It's the landing that causes the ouches! Been there - done that! LOL
